There are many evil characters in this arc, but Pouf takes the whole cake. He is evil incarnated.

pouf is a really really well written villain. Hes literally carrying the plot rn. Without him and his schemes, this would end pretty fast ngl.

I don't hate evil characters, unless they are straight up boring. Malice is an interesting fundamental when it comes to writing characters so I respect that.

He's the real villain of this arc, sure Meruem is stronger and is the main villain but still Pouf takes the whole cake as you said.

pouf are not loyal imo. he just want to control the king. he love the king on his mind. not actual meruem. pitou is the only loyal royal guard honestly.

He just wants to see his ideal King and only loves that, he doesn't love how the King was before he lost his memory so he's just taking the advantage of Meruem's amnesia and shaping him up as he wants to see.

Someone please tell me HunterXHunter gets better after this. This arc sucks.

-Knov + Meleron is broken but no one addresses it. They could literally one shot the king.
-The king surviving the Nuke is dumb. At least, in the way they portrayed it.
-The way the guards revived the king gave me nightmares and is asspull plot armor.
-Cant someone use whatever Karupika did for the king. Like instead of fighting Spiders. Its only for fighting Mureum. It made Kurapika increase in power by leaps and bounds.

I was told that HunterXHunter was an amazing shounen with no plot armour and asspulls. This arc says otherwise. Is the next arc good?

Also Gon just did something like Kurapika lol. Besides we all know ants can heal from feeding, and the chimera ants especially the royal guards are technically the best feed for the King, so it isn't really "plot armour". It was kinda expected that the servants would do something sacrificial and so they did.

knov+meleoron still can't beat the royal guards on their own. 1) Knov is scared shitless.
2) Meleoron can only hold his breath for a limited amount of time. 3)Although the best thing Knov could have done is have Netero sit inside his dimension and pull in the king somehow. Then the fight ensues as it did in the anime. Nuke is triggered Meruem dies separated from his Royal Guards.
